Upcoming Quilting Classes
November Classes
Hope Chest Treasures Quilt
A stash-busting "Turning Twenty" quilt. This design looks like it should be
complicated but it's really simple to do. It's a wonderful way to use a fat quarter
collection or go all-out scrappy; there are 2 layout options and several sizes to choose as well.
One 5-Hour Session
Saturday, November 8th- 10:30 to 3:30pm
With Sue, purchase of book required- Cost is $30.00

Reversible Quilts
Back by popular demand-and this fall may be the last time since the book is going
out of print. Let Sue walk you through the basic techniques for constructing a reversible quilt.
You can make any size quilt with this technique, great for using up all those scraps.
When you're done with the top, you're done with the back-all you have to do is add the binding
and it's done. And Sue will show you how to make a matching reversible binding at that!
One 5-Hour Session
Saturday, November 15th- 10:00 to 3:00pm
With Sue, purchase of book required- Cost is $30.00

Beginning Quilting with Carol
We will be using Eleanor Burn's book It's Elementary
which is very easy to understand with lots of pictures to follow. Each student needs
to make an appointment with me ahead of class time to pick out his or her fabric for
the project. If you want to use some of your own fabric please bring it along to be checked.
In the past, I have allowed students to use whatever fabric they wish but this just causes too
many problems. From now on, all fabric must be good quality 100% cotton quilting fabric
or I will not let you use it in your project. You will learn to cut and press correctly
and practice your scant 14" seam allowance before moving on to constructing the (5) 12 1/2"
blocks into a 42 x 42" wall hanging or a long runner.
Four 6-Hour Sessions
Saturday, November 29th, December 6th, 13th, and 29th- 10:00 to 4:00pm
With Carol, purchase of book required- Cost is $100.00
(Includes Large Zippered Project Bag & 2 Fat Quarters)
